My name is Arron and i am a grateful recovering addict. On the 24th March i will be running over 15 miles between Better Way Recovery Lichfield and Tamworth to help raise money for the service that quite possibly saved my life. I feel i have been given a second chance at life and the gift of recovery.I am so grateful to Pete, the centre, the volunteers and all of my peers.
Even though i kept relapsing, no one gave up on me and i always felt the love, support and encouragement from everyone. I have never been happier in my life, my partner actually sleeps at night now and my daughters have the best version of their dad. For this i am eternally grateful.
To show my gratitude, and to celebrate 1 year clean in recovery, i will be running between the two Better Way centres to raise awareness of the charity and what they do, and to raise money to help them continue helping other people, just like me, who had nowhere else to go.
I can't thank Better Way enough for what they have done for me and my family. If you are able to donate i would be very grateful. Thank you so much.
