Dear friends, walkers, and supporters,

Join us in the 10,000 Steps Challenge for 21 days to honor loved ones we’ve lost. This journey is about health, togetherness, and remembrance. We’re raising funds for Grief Encounter to support bereaved children. Walk with us, donate, or share—every step counts!

The 10,000 Steps Challenge begins at Kenwood House, Hampstead Lane, London NW3 7JR every day at 10 AM from March 31st to April 20th, 2025.

We start early so you can enjoy a meaningful walk and still have the whole day ahead of you. Each morning, we’ll walk 10,000 steps (around 1.5–2 hours) through the beautiful Hampstead Heath in memory of our loved ones.

This challenge is about more than just walking—it’s about honouring those we’ve lost, celebrating health and life, connecting with others, and raising funds for Grief Encounter, a charity supporting bereaved children and families.

Join us for a day, a week, or the full 21 days—everyone is welcome. Every step counts.

Campaign Story:

This challenge is dedicated to the memory of my beloved brother, who passed away three years ago. Today, March 29th, is his birthday, and I want to honor him by creating something meaningful—something that celebrates life, health, and togetherness.

Alongside my daughters, family, and friends, I will be walking 10,000 steps per day for 21 days to raise money for Grief Encounter, a charity that provides crucial support for bereaved children and families. This charity holds a special place in our hearts, as my daughters’ school supports their mission, making this challenge even more personal and inspiring for them.

This initiative is also in memory of my aunt and grandmother, whom we recently lost. Losing loved ones leaves an empty space in our hearts, and I believe our mission is to fill that space with love, gratitude, and connection.

Why 10,000 Steps?

Walking 10,000 steps a day is a powerful yet simple way to improve physical and mental well-being. It reminds us to be present, to appreciate life, and to connect with others. This challenge is about more than just steps—it’s about walking together in remembrance, in gratitude, and in support of those who are grieving.

How You Can Help:

• Donate: Every contribution, big or small, will help Grief Encounter support children and families through bereavement.

• Join the Challenge: Walk 10,000 steps per day with us and share your journey to spread awareness.

• Share & Inspire: Help us reach more people by sharing this campaign with friends, family, and social media.

The Goal:

Our goal is to raise 10 000 to support Grief Encounter in their incredible work. Every step we take together is a step toward healing, love, and remembrance.

Let’s walk, remember, and uplift each other.
