Unable to run together for so long, but looking for some motivation, the opportunity to do something as a team and also raise some money for charity, a few of us decided to attempt a 24hr relay, aiming to cover 100 miles between us.
Beautiful weather for sunbathing and ice creams made for pretty difficult running conditions on Saturday. But that didn’t stop us.Craig B kicked us off with a 4am start. He passed the baton to Dave, then Katie and onto John up in Warwickshire. Returning to Essex, Craig T was in position number 5 before Steve and then Finally Hamish bringing us home just before 9pm!
We smashed the 100 mile target with a total of 107 miles, or 173 km in just under 17 hours.
We’re raising money in aid of South East Brainwave. Anything you can contribute towards helping us achievetarget will be massively appreciated.
