Raising funds for Liskeard & Looe Foodbank to deal with the increased demand from people in crisis.

“The foodbank was there when I needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”
We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why Liskeard & Looe Foodbank provides three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis.
Last year we distributed more than 32.8 tonnes of donated food to 2748 local people including 936 children. However we expect these figures to rise as the various ‘safety nets’ put in place by the Government are to be withdrawn.
This Sunday 25th July three local guys Oli, Gareth and Dave who have a strong desire to help the most vulnerable and needy in our community are going to run 100 miles around Siblyback Lake. Please support them anyway you can.
