Most research reveals that 1 in 10 men experience depression or anxiety but less than half will tell anyone or receive treatment.
If 1 in 10 are struggling, we believe that 9 in 10 men are part of the solution.
We want to see every community support every man.
As a small not for profit we know we can't tackle a national issue on a wide scale. But we can act locally. Through a successful pilot year, we have identified the need to work with 10 groups of men in their local settings. These include sports clubs, workplaces and schools. To achieve this, we are raising £10k through crowdfunding. You will see men throwing themselves into challenges and events from 10th October to the 10th November all in the name of addressing Men's Wellbeing.
We are asking you to support our campaign by donating money and/or taking part in one of our challenges or events. Every penny raised will make a difference to the lives of men in our communities.
There are three ways you can help:
Donate money: Any donation, big or small, will make a difference. Suggested donations are £10.
100 people giving £10 will help cover a weekend away to inspire men to make a change for their wellbeing and those around them.
Take part in a challenge or event: We have a variety of challenges and events to choose from, including running, cycling, hiking, and take a friend for a coffee.
You can walk 10,000 steps a day, or host a meal for 10 friends to talk about the importance of safe and supportive environments for men to open up.
Spread the word: You can share our campaign with your friends, family, and colleagues. Awareness is only part of the solution, but it will make a difference to those around you.
Thank you for your support!
Together, we can make a difference to the lives of men in our community.
