Who are we?
We are a football team playing in both a Saturday and Sunday league. We have gone from around 10 inexperienced Sunday league players to 25 of the best players in our region. Season by season we are becoming even better and growing as people as we also like to support them in life as well as football.
Why are we crowdfunding?
With extra help we will be able to provide much needed kit and training equipment and also a Veo camera that can allow the players to watch games back regularly. With the squad progressing well we are now on the radar of many scouts and just want to give them all an extra boost as well as take some of the pressure off of myself as I am juggling my personal, work and football life which I really wouldn’t change for the world.
How we’ll spend the money raised
Money will be spent on making the logistics around games easier with a mini bus, making it more enjoyable and rewarding for the players with player of the match/month medals and trophies. We would also like to be able to take them on regular trips where we can all bond and forget about the pressures of the game and conversation about everyday life. Kit, match day tracksuits, balls, bottles and other training equipment will also be needed
Community impact
Having grown up in the community myself, the lure of crime because of lack of support and guidance can lead innocent kids down the wrong path so I want to make it a safe place and also allow word to be spread that there are opportunities with us and help to guide as many young people towards a healthy lifestyle.
