On the 12th of January, Outcry will be spending the day at the Switch Room in the Tate Modern. After hearing two pieces, "Lias" and "Hair and Stone" by Laurence Osborn, Lynda Beckett asked Outcry to collaborate with her on an installation where members of the public could draw their live responses to the music. This fantastic idea came from Lynda's own reaction to hearing Laurence's music for the first time at one our concerts. The installation will last from 2pm-6pm on the 12th and will be open to anyone. We are hoping to get school children and possibly children with Special Educational Needs to join us that day.
Outcry's musical mission is to bring the modern and vital nature of all music to our audience. We can think of no better way to doing this than getting our public's response to music to be part of the live performance.
Please give whatever you can to help get this fantastic project off the ground!
