I’m taking part in the 24 hours Three Peaks challenge on 13th June 2014 with a good friend, Nirujan.
We are hoping to raise an amount of £1100 for ELIM Orphanage Home, which is based in India.
The ELIM Children’s Home takes care of orphans and/or destitute children in South India, currently providing food, shelter and education to around 40 children aged 4 – 18. The orphanage is led by Director Stephen Christopher, with a mission to reach people in the villages of Southern India. TVGM has been working in different states of India that includes Tamil Nadu, Orissa and recently among in Gujarat. With this vision, TVGM has covered nearly 30,000 villages in Tamil Nadu so far.
The money raised will be going towards building a living room in the orphanage as the children are currently all practically sharing one room which have beds in it.
Also, the money will be used to build a set of stairs that will make it easier to access the water tank on the roof, in order to be regularly maintained and cleaned.
We will start the challenge by travelling to Scotland on Friday night and start climbing Ben Nevis on Saturday morning. Following the first ascent we’ll make our way to the Lake District to climb Scafell Pike during the night and last but not least we will make our way to Wales to complete our challenge with Snowdon on the Sunday morning.

It is a tough and physically challenging task and we would appreciate if you could support our cause by making a generous donation.
