If the money raised is more than the money needed to accomplish our trip to Florianopolis and the USA; The left-over money will be allocated towards making the organisation bigger and better, making the future of our students brighter than before.

Our Project; Futuro Bom - Opportunities to Build a Better Future.

Instituto Futuro Bom is a non-profit organisation founded officially in 2013 and currently operates the projects "Tennis in Schools" and "Tennis in Hotels".

We use the sport to get the best out of each student, rewarding based on meritocracy the ones that stand out the most, on and off the courts.

Every child has to be enrolled in a regular school, where each one is closely followed in relation to their school performance and participation in the training, so that they can guarantee their permanence within the project.

We follow the same American university model, using sport aligned with education, training a citizen and a more qualified professional, knowing how to work in groups, defining tasks, priorities, leadership, ethics, discipline among many other benefits that are now indispensable in the world corporate.

They are considered Student Athletes, Students as a prior priority to being an athlete. Students come first and Athletes comes second.

The first stage of the process which uses tennis and citizen training takes place in schools, where we work with 250 children aged 6 to 11 years, using the play and stay methodology, with age-appropriate materials. Due to the lack of the tennis court in the schools, the classes are adequate in the spaces available, working the concepts of basic techniques, visual and motor coordination.

Schools attended:

Creche Tia Maura School - Rocinha - 50 children

CIEP Tancredo Neves - Glória - 100 children

Municipal School Djalma Maranhão - Vidigal - 100 children

The second stage happens in hotels, where we serve 130 children from 11 to college. The trainings are performed daily and all receive food, uniform, material and transportation. In addition to a safe, five star place, surrounded by Class A people, and opinion makers, where they can grow safely and in full, with opportunities and experiences never seen in social projects. A new concept of corporate social responsibility!

Partner hotels:

Sheraton Grand Rio Hotel and Resort - Leblon - 50 children

BHG - Pullman Hotel and Resort - São Conrado - 60 children

Belmond Copacabana Palace - Copacabana - 13 children

In this stage we offer 100% scholarships in Pennsylvania Colleges, Elite, Eleva and Estácio University, for athletes who stand out on and off the courts.

Physical preparation is currently one of the most important parts in the game of tennis, and it often makes the difference between winning and losing. Therefore, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday we have training focused on strengthening and muscle explosion, totally focused on tennis, on the sands of the São Conrado beach.

Every month we reward 15 athletes for cultural and sporting trips.

We take two children each year to train for a week at IMG (International Management Group), the world's largest tennis academy, with legendary coach Nick Bollettieri in Bradenton, Florida.

It's no use only to train, you have to compete, and our athletes who stand out most on the court, participate in some stages of the state championships and Brazilian National tennis tournaments.

Due to the work that our team has put into the organization, we were able to achieve these prizes;

1- CARIOCA NOTA 10, BY THE MAGAZINE VEJA 2015

2- BEST SOCIAL TENNIS PROJECT OF THE WORLD, GIVEN BY ATP (ASSOCIATION OF

    PROFESSIONAL TENNISTS) -2016

3- BEST SOCIAL ACTION OF EVERY HOTEL NETWORK OF RIO DE JANEIRO - 2017

Life is made of opportunities and experiences, and based on this, we need your help to transform and influence the lives of 9 children and two teachers, who serve as an example and model for the rest of the nearly 400 athletes / students.

In October we will be taking a week of training at the IMG gymnasium located in Bradenton, Florida, athletes Fernando Alves and Ryan Reis, both receive 100% scholarships from Instituto Futuro Bom to study at the Pensi School, and are examples of determination and overcoming.

In October the Futuro Bom Institute will also take 7 athletes and an assistant to participate in the Guga Cup, from 11 to 21 October, in the city of Florianópolis. All being chosen based on meritocracy, having stood out on and off the courts.

Our team will be led by Douglas Araujo, and will have the following athletes; Marcus Vinicius, Thiago Freitas, Gabriel Lima, Ryan Souza, Kauã Mendonça, Bryan dos Santos and Renan Santos.

For those experiences that will last forever in our lives, we must reach the remaining total of 3,500 £. This amount includes tickets, lodging, meals, insurance, training and extra expenses.

We count on your help!
