I’m a very proud mother whose son is helping the volunteers in Indonesia, all the help they do will help the people who have suffered so badly .

As well as death and physical injury, people suffering this magnitude of natural (or, more likely, man-made) disaster - and their family and friends around the world - suffer great trauma. My heart goes out to all those affected: in difficult terrain, it can take far longer for aid to reach people; if I can help a bit with that, it's the least I can do.
I am so happy that the military training that people have received is enabling them to assist people in such terrible situations. I wish them all the best with their task.
