I have lived in the NewForest for 29 years and have come to realise two things, camping in the New forest can be expensive and wild camping is illegal. I have also noticed an incline of people interested in wild camping and bushcraft holidays.

After much research we have found that there is a gap in the market for what we wish to offer, which focuses mainly on the affordability.

Our goal is to raise enough money so we can transform a woodland into a basic site for secure, safe and legal 'wild' camping. We are of course aware that in order to provide a 'wild' experience, the site would operate differently to other sites.

We will offer a range of activities from archery to tanning, woodland foraging and bushcraft skills, and many more! As well as weekly workshops including yoga and meditation, pagan ceremonies and Offgrid living.

The cost to start up would essentially be dramatically more if it were not for the fact we all ready have the site, now we are looking for just a small amount to help us set up the woodland, manage it and get the tools and equipment neccessary.

We hope to open next spring and in order to do so, require tools and materials. If we can make this a reality, we will be able to open for camping, manage the woodland to encourage wildlife and teach as we do so, we can offer classes and workshops that cater for all, not just those able to afford such breaks away.

In return for support I can offer  breaks away and activities here and I can also offer a share of any produce we produce. At the moment we plan to have bees for honey, berry bushes for jams, fruit trees, veg patches and chickens for eggs.
