Neale-Wade Gymnastics Club has been providing support & enrichment for children & adolescents of all ages for over 15 years in the sport of gymnastics out of Neale-Wade Sports Centre. We aspire to teach gymnastics to children of all ages, ethnicities, genders, backgrounds and abilities in line with the BAGA guidelines on coaching and development. Our aim is to provide this recreational activity to enable our members to develop not only their gymnastic skills with a view to entering competitions but also to enable them to keep fit, have fun, build friendships, develop confidence and interpersonal skills, within a safe and friendly environment.
We have 150 members currently enrolled and a waiting list of approx. 75 children. We are members of the British Amateur Gymnastics Association & Eastern Counties Gymnastics Association.
We have kept our prices very low since the day we first started to enable children of all backgrounds to participate & as a result of this we have been unable to purchase any large pieces of equipment for over 10 years... This is where we need your help!
Our main pieces are currently:
- Gymnova air track
- Double mini trampoline
- New Asymetric bars (steel & wooden bars). Delivery due 17th January 2019
- Gymnova competition level spring board

- Trampette (needs replacing)
- Old style vaulting horse (needs replacing)
- 2 x Rings
- Multiple crash mats (some of which need either refurbishing or replacing)
- Roll Up track for vault (needs replacing)

Continental Sports high bar
Our club currently consists of one level 3 coach in men's & women's gymnastics, a level one coach currently training for level 2 women's artistic, a number of voluntary coaching assistants, administrative support & a Welfare Officer. As a community focused organisation, we also look to help put assistant coaches through their British Gymnastics coaching courses if this is something they wish to do and we will always strive to help them meet the goals they aspire to.
Our gymnasts regularly complete BAGA proficiency awards to motivate & encourage improvement in their development in the world of gymnastics and we aim to continue this through developing a good bond and working closely with their coaches.
With new equipment we will be able to take part in competitions again which is something we have done in the past, but have been unable to do so in recent years due to equipment upgrades being needed. It will also bring a much more joyful and fulfilling experience to our gymnasts on a day to day basis and they will be able to push themselves further and achieve their personal goals.
To everyone that supports us, we are immensely grateful and wouldn't be able to grow our club without your help so a massive thanks goes out to you!
