Project aim

Nottingham's first World Music Festival aims to celebrate our melting pot of cultures through live music. Free entry & family friendly.

About the project

We have decided to create this outdoor festival as we believe it will encourage people from different cultures and backgrounds to unify together through the love of live music. We aim to give bands an opportunity to perform to new audiences and also take part in the first Nottingham World Music Festival.

We believe that this festival will shine a positive light on the city of Nottingham and highlight the musical diversity of the bands who will be performing.

We are confident that this festival will also attract new people into the Nottingham area and most importantly encourage different communities to have a better understanding of eachother.

A new music festival that celebrates our differences so that we can learn, unite and grow as a city.

This is a non-profit festival and with your kind support and funding we will be able to cover additional costs for volunteer expenses, free activities for the children and the hire of portaloos.

Artists & Bands confirmed

Arian, Muha, Yubu Ka, Waqas Choudhary, Mendi Singh, Lisa Hendricks, Blessing Magore, Rikki Thomas-Martinez, Salmagundi, Ram1 & The Ites Band & Ujahm.

We will be working with a very small dedicated team and we hope to create a quality event that will continue to grow in strength and vision.

Unity is easy when you look within, not at the skin. Thank you for reading. One Love.

NOMAD (Nottingham's Original Music Arts & Dance) community group will be organising this festival. The team consists of Rastarella Falade, Simone Miller & Stephen Smith.
