From a future Churchill school pupil who lives in winscombe and will need the help of the bus to get him to school ❤️

I've walked it myself and know it's not a safe route, which also exceeds the statutory distance for walking, but the council won't listen and appear not to have bothered to assess this route thoroughly themselves! An independent survey is needed to help the transport team understand the complexities of this route and the difficulties faced by rural communities accessing a school which was built in the middle of fields with no public bus links.

This is simply not a safe route and is only to get worse with more housing developments, Banwell bypass when completed will also have send traffic coming straight out into Sandford where the children will be expected to walk.
