Having made my first TV programme while being a student at a TV production course in the late 1990's, I then sold the programme to Rapture TV and it was broadcast early 2001. I then a year later re launch the Rapture TV channel built a production team designed the sets built the channels production and transmission systems and applied for a Ofcom broadcast license.
In 2016 I funded wrote and produced a daily live show from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe which was broadcast of ShowBiz TV on Sky. Some of which you can watch on YouTube.
I want to make an alternative satirical News programme to give a voice to the failures of those in a position of power. Laughter can be a great healer they say and this Covid19 pandemic needs lots of healing. In the future I'd like to see the launch of a new broadcast TV channel based in Scotland offering a platform for creative talent, training and experience for the next generation of programme makers. A new channel will require substantial funding but one step at a time.
