When the news hit of this global pandemic it was pandemonium at the shops as people started to panic-buy. The amount of extra packaging being consumed gave me huge anxiety, but it wasn't until during the Thursday clapping for NHS workers that I worked out how to combine my love of the environment with my love of the community. I'm hoping that people will be willing to support the NHS and the environment at the same time by buying this re-useable bag to use during their weekly shop.
The bags are £10 each, when not in use you can hang the bag in your window to show support for our key workers and specifically our NHS workers who are especially critical to us right now. We all know the NHS is underfunded, and I want to help support them and reward people for doing so at the same time.
These bags are made by a British company (supporting UK businesses has never been so important) and they're made of 100% cotton (a biodegradable fabric should it come to the end of it's life one day). If popular the bags will be made in batches, this will help to avoid waste by only creating what we need.
All of the profits from the sale of these bags will go towards helping to fund the NHS and support it's staff.
