During these delightful unprecedented times, we understand that it's more important than ever to enable the Film & TV community from the East Midlands and Beyond to keep in the loop. We want to continue to provide opportunities for you to carry on networking and collaborating, as well as continue to deliver our panel events & masterclasses with amazing industry talent.
Our first event is 28th May where we are hosting a Q&A with UK's leading intimacy coordinator, Ita O'Brien (Normal People, Sex Education) and offering a structured online session for people to ask questions, engage, and enjoy some quality networking afterwards.
Nexus Cast & Crew Network is run by a a few friends volunteering to keep the community thriving. We are not a business and it is not-for-profit. We charge £1-2 (or nothing!) for our face-to-face events which just-about enables us to cover the expenses for each one. In this difficult time, we are hosting the events on Zoom, reaching more people in need, and we can't do it without your kind donations to cover the subscription so that these events can continue, as it can no longer come out of our pockets.
Costs
Pro account + '101+ participants add-on': £62.39 per month (inc. VAT)
Amount for two months: £124.78
If everyone donates £1-2, we should be able to hit this easily.
Why so expensive?
Due to popular demand, we have upgraded our Zoom account to cater for more than 100 participants. This add-on turned out to be quite costly! But less than 24 hours after purchasing it, the number of registrations for the event has already more than doubled so the demand was definitely there!
