To provide clean water and employment in rural India

by Neer Enactus LSE in London, England, United Kingdom

Nearly 9 out of 10 children in India die because of a lack of clean water -UNICEF INDIA

The NEER project has been founded to address this issue of water sanitation. This project seeks to identify villages in India lacking clean water facilities and empower its habitants to make, use and sell water filtration systems. We have collaborated with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay to design cost efficient and effective water filters. We will begin our project in Bahraiech, a village in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Any donation received will help subsidies costs and enable villagers to make and sell water filters at affordable prices.

We are not here to hand out a glass of clean water. We are here to ensure that everyone can get this glass of clean water for themselves. We hope that you too believe in our cause! Thank you for your time, and please remember every little donation counts!
