National Youth Theatre
Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

Raising funds to cover NYT expenses.

by Phillip Jones in London, England, United Kingdom

Oi oi.

So, as some of you may know I've been accepted onto a course at the National Youth Theatre.
Now I'll try let you all know what that means, assuming you don't know.

Firstly NYT is a world charity that helps train and get young Performers, Technicians, Writers and Directors off the ground.

What do people like Dame Helen Mirren, Ed Sheeran, Idris Elba, Daniel Craig, Sir Daniel Day-Lewis,(I repeat, Daniel Day-Lewis), Chiwetel Ejiofor, Colin Firth, Rosamund Pike, Orlando Bloom, Catherine Tate, Sir Ben Kingsley, Sir Derek Jacobi, Timothy Dalton, Matt Lucas, Hugh Bonneville, Matt Smith and a bucket load of other successul entertainers have in common with me?

Thats right, absolutely nothing.

If however, I manage raise enough funds to be able to afford to do this course, we'll have the National Youth Theatre in common.
So basically it's a big frikkin deal and a big frikkin opportunity to be a part of it.

Money stuff:
Any of you that know me know more than I'm sure you'd like to admit you do, know I'm a poor lad who spends more than he should on VK strawpedos and G and T's.
So I need a little help,

NYT Epic stages Course cost £989 (I can pay thisone on my lonesome..... thanks mum luv u)

Accomidation Cost £950
This is what I need a helping hand with.

So let's look at it this way,
If this can get shared enough and have 100 of you give £10? Job done.
(That's barely 2 pints in some places, and not even a whole Nando's)

200 of you give £5 Job done. (That barely buys you a pack of Haribo these days).

On a serious note, many of you know I care a lot about this acting stuff, and this NYT buisness will be a massive stepping stone in the right direction.
I've already been fortunate enough to be offered a place in East 15 Acting school this year, combine this with NYT in the same year and I'm in a good place to continue my journey.

I won't bore you with anymore details or wanky dreamy misty eyed musings.
And as I type this another repeat of Top Gear is coming on Dave so you'll understand where my attention is heading. (See I'm a normal chap)

If you do end up sponsering, gimme a message so I can thankyou personally.

Cheers,
ya boy.
Phil.

Got an idea like this?

Over £200 million has been raised from our crowd to support the projects they love! Plus tens of millions more unlocked by our partners.
