The Coronavirus pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for millions of British small businesses, which is going to make it very challenging for businesses and budding entrepreneurs to survive.
My-Online-Desk is a London-based personalised reception and virtual administration service where an experienced and professional team will take care of the small, but essential tasks you simply do not have time to do.
Here at MyOnlineDesk, we believe that the help must include Access-for-all so that the help provided goes also to those who are impaired in any way.
MyOnlineDesk is here to make sure communication barriers are removed. That is our goal.
We are based in central London and will pre-sell valuable personal services to any one in need of communication support services in these difficult times when people are having to isolate themselves.
Crowdfunder are offering up their platform to allow all UK small businesses to pre-sell their meals, events, hotel bookings and personal services for cash now on a promise to redeem these at a later date.
We provide the following services:
BRITISH SIGN LANGUAGE (BSL) SERVICES
We have Deaf people working in our team who can provide all BSL services required by our customers.
PHONE AND FAX
We make and receive calls, arrange appointments and meetings. We will also enable reading postal mail online.
We receive and respond to letters for you and proofread paperwork. Inbox Zero? Leave it to us.
For those who have Data Management needs can also rely on our services. Spreadsheets to SQL. We have it covered.
We can manage websites and manage everything from back-end to User-Experience.
Our ultimate goal is to allow Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and speech-impaired people to have stellar communication services i.e. be able to make and receive phone calls online to anyone with a lot of equally access enabled features such as call waiting, voicemail, three way calling etc in line with Access-for-all guidelines.
To accomplish this, we are building a prototype. Marcus Turley, our director who is also Deaf will be leading this with his own experience.
He successfully created and launched European Relay Service, a telecoms software company that enabled the Deaf community to make phone calls online instead of using the traditional minicom machine; it was the first telecom company in the UK and Ireland to do this. We now want to use advanced app development technologies to deliver this.
