To help children to recognise and manage their feelings, build their self confidence and show them they can be anything they choose

Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

I have spent my entire career working with children in once capacity or another.  Most recently I have worked at local schools where it became apparent that so many children are struggling to recognise and manage their own feelings, and I was one of them.

We spend so much time on the academic subjects but fail to give our children an emotional education.

So I put together my knowledge of working with children, my own experiences growing up and my knowledge of the science behind "how we are is the direct result of how we think"

And I came up with My Imagination .  A series of unique interactive workshops developing minds of the future.

The children will experience gratitude, relaxation, self confidence and resilience.  They will learn skills to manage their feelings, make good decisions and build a more positive self image.

By teaching children to be happy with themselves, and that we are all unique and have different strengths, allows them to tap into these skills when things get tough.

All of these skills are transferable and can be used in any situation.

Children who understand and manage their feelings stay calm, enjoy their experiences, and are more likely to develop a positive sense of self and be more confident learners and interact successfully with others.

The future aim of My Imagination is to develop similar workshops for adults and parents.
