MUGA Refurbishment
We did it
On 17th December 2018 we successfully raised £1,917 with 49 supporters in 28 days

The old MUGA facility in Longhorsley Village is widely used for football and other sports, but is in need of refurbishment due to its age.

New stretch target

We are seeking funding from various organisations, but should we be unsuccessful any additional funding generated will enable our project to commence asap.

Due to the poor state of the current surface of the MUGA (it is heavily worn, lifting and split in places and the base is now undulating) we are looking for funding to completely replace the surface and base, introduce new line markings and replace equipment.

The MUGA is well used by both young people, young and old adults with several teams also using the facility on a regular basis.

We believe that playing outdoor sports improves both physical and mental health, forms lasting friendships, lays a life-long foundation for keeping fit, gives the young people a place to hang-out but most importantly it is FUN.
