Like a lot of businesses, the pandemic has thrown up problems. This is massively true for the Arts Industry, and with your help we can bring it back bigger and better
On Sunday the 4th October at 7pm, we are bringing our first ever LIVE Virtual Socially Distanced Concert. With a reduced orchestra and 4 incredible singers, we will bring you a night of entertainment not to be missed.
Joining our 16 piece young orchestra are Jai McDowall, Sabrina Carter, Chloe Taylor and Paul Tabone singing songs from your favourite musicals and movies with a few surprises.
The concert will be free to watch on our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube on the night, but we do ask that you can try to make a donation towards the concert. As we are sure you are all aware, the Arts industry has been one of the biggest hit, with thousands of performers, event staff, technicians, stage managers, musicians, etc not making any money over the past 6 months. Things now need to change!
With your help and support, we will be able to give young performers many opportunities to perform for a fraction of the cost of other places and give them the experiences of a lifetime.
Glasgow Phiharmonia SCIO are the charity set up to give these young performers the incredible opportunities. Set up by Ross Gunning at the age of 17, the charity have gone on to give over 2000 young performers that opportunity which has also helped to launch people into the industry.
For only £170, we can give a young person this incredible opportunity. Getting the chance to perform at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall with a full orchestra and 4 incredible West End and Broadway stars, as well as a small tour and a 4 day residential course to Ardentinny where they rehearsal and develop their skills to help them in the industry.
Now more than ever, we need your support.
Please watch our concert on Sunday 4th October at 7pm, to hear the young people telling you about their experiences and witness and incredible LIVE Event.
