Mother Daughter Film
Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

I am creating an alternate look into depression and those it harms. It is from the point of view you don't expect.

This film sheds light on a topic dear to me. An issue a lot of teens and adults deal with, mental illness. I am creating this film from the sibling and parents point of view as those are usually the ones closet to the people suffering.

This topic is one I want to bring to light as my mum and sister watched and helped me through my darkest times.

This film occurs when a struggling girl is on her way home from University due to needing a mental health week off, the film isn't from her perspective but those that are waiting at home for her. Her mother and sister, they are preparing the home for her arrival and discussing how to go about things.

Many teenager in the UK have depression or are in a depressive state but we don't talk about those that look after these teenagers. The parents.

Hope your wanting to help put forward for this film, have any questions don't hesitate to ask. My email is

Many thanks, Hattie Hurst
