The Montgomeryshire Green Party (MGP) are raising funds for the Welsh Assembly elections - May 2016.
Since the MGP formed in January 2015 we have fielded a candidate, Richard Chaloner, in last year's General Election. Achieving the joint fifth highest voting percentage out of the 35 constituencies in Wales with a Green Party candidate standing. As a new party we were very encouraged by this success and so Richard has been selected by the MGP to stand as a prospective constituency candidate for the Welsh Assembly Elections.
Not only do we have Richard standing, from our local party, we also have Alice Hooker-Stroud, newly elected Wales Green Party Leader, and Pippa Pemberton as 2016 Mid and West Wales prospective list candidates.
None of this could have been achieved without the generous funding from local party members and supporters over the past 14 months.
The Welsh Green party have a very realistic chance of having an elected Assembly member this year - can you help to turn a chance into a reality?
The Greens as a local, national and international movement work together for the common good. We stand for a sustainable society and economy, protecting and supporting the planet and the people that live on it.
If you want to be part of the green momentum please help us to achieve our goals with your donation. Just £1.00 will make a difference.
