Every year for the past 3 year st josephs high school, have flew over to Thailand with farther Ray foundation to help in ways many are unable to do so. Mission2Thailand is used to raise money for orphans who sadly have no secure home and also street children, we raise money to go out there and help bring them joy and happiness, whilst out there we bring the orphans and street children on various different outings such as water parks and trips to the zoo, to help not only help bring them joy and positivity but to also help educate them in areas that we so sadly take for granted. The funds raised by myself will also help bring clothing, food and equipment for the children; to help them live a normal life as possible and will also help aid them for their future, I will be able to buy them unifom which in turn means they will be able to go to school with all the other children and will give them a chance to live a good life, whilst being fully educated. Giving these children the opportunity to live a normal and happy life, is my goal. These children now live in poor run down conditions with little; if no opportunity’s and have no family’s. As a group of 14 we intend to show them true happiness and to give them hope and perseverance that they are special and important and that they are loved.
Within the orphanage there are also many disabled children who struggle immensely, by providing them with the equipment they need we are that little bit closer to making a difference in the world.
Its important to realise that we as young children are oblivious to the pain and suffering all around the work however being given this opportunity means that I as one individual am able to make just 1 little difference, to bring a smile to their faces, and to give each and everyone of them an equal opportunity like they all deserve.
By helping me raise this money, not only I will be helping to make a difference but so will you.
This is my story, I hope you are able to take the time to give a little to help a lot.
