Project aim

Hi all,

I have thought long and hard about whether to use crowdfund, and with costs of trying to qualify for the Rio Olympic Games I would be massively grateful for any help you could give to help me in funding my upcoming travels in the search of succeeding in my dream of competing on the most famous of all sporting stages.

About the project

With the 2016 Rio Olympics now only a year away I am hoping to qualify for the biggest sporting event in the world by self funding trips to climb the IJF World Ranking.

Judo is a largely self-funded sport and in order to travel and pick up the much needed world ranking points to qualify for the games I will have to self-fund trips around the globe.

Upcoming destinations include competitions in Glasgow, Mauritius, Australia, China and Korea, as well as some training in Paris!

And all that before Christmas!!!

Ever since i stepped on the mat 10 years ago everything I have done and every effort I have made has been towards this goal. Funding from the Heriot Watt Sports Scholarship Program and the JudoScotland performance program has and continues to help me towards my goal, and now I would be massively appreciative of any help you could extend me!

Thank You,

Patrick.
