To build a new pavilion for the cricket club and local community to use all year round, to include changing rooms, toilet, showers and social space.

About the project

The pavilion at Millhouses Park was built in the 1950s and is no longer fit for purpose. With awful outside toilets, poor shower facilities and an area far too small for modern cricket or community activities the Club is working together with Sheffield City Council and the Yorkshire Cricket Board to build a brand new pavilion, fit for the club and local community.

Cricket has been played at Millhouses for over 150 years and now sees the highest standard of cricket ever seen in the park being played on a weekly basis. The facilities however are very much short of basic standards and require vast improvement.

The Club is made up of members from across the diverse communities of Sheffield, including different ethnic groups and socio-economic backgrounds. All come to gether to play and enjoy cricket and cricket-related activities. We have more kids than we have ever had -  boys and girls of all ages and backgrounds coming together to play the greatest game and enjoy themselves.
