I met Mike many moons ago in a small village in India, amazed by his music and his guitar playing I encouraged him to move to the UK and to become a star. After many failed gigs, lonely open mic nights and countless jams that we we're probably all too drunk to remember. I feel it's about time to put all this work down on a record that can last a life time.
Anyone who knows Mikey, knows what a great musician he truly is. Whether singing in the early hours, on stage with the Bru Shanks or even reciting some obscure poetry he wrote for his muse Frankie. Whenever he covers Conor Oberst, or Tallest Man on Earth, when he plays drums in the leftbank to some over bearing jam band or picking along on a ukelele that just happens to be lying round, I'm sure you can all agree he takes your breath away.
With the idea of marriage looming over him and with all the costs that living in our first world country really entail, there's not really much left to put aside to his music. That's why I had the thought to crowdfund and then all of us can put a little bit of money in and he'll have to spend it on making an album!
So I'm reaching out to all of you to support one of my best friends make his dreams a reality and make it happen. For we all know he would have done it anyway if it wasn't for the costs. Thank you in advance.
