Thank you all for donating! We didn’t expect to hit that so quickly! She does want to keep going so I’m going to see if I can raise the amount slightly! Thank you again! One very happy girly who did an extra half an hour to celebrate!

She’s doing so well!

Merri has peddled every day for at least an hour and often more, she’s doing so well and is so happy she’s raised so much. Please keep sharing and thank you all so much xx

£250! Go Merri!

Thank you to everyone who has donated! We have a very excited girly tonight. Thank you for showing her that there are still little acts of kindness happening even if we’re not together. Her favourite quote lately is from Albus Dumbledore and she’s been quoting it a lot! Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light. Very apt lately I think

Thank you everyone!

A huge thank you for each and every donation! Merri is thrilled to have been able to try and make a difference for our wonderful nhs.

I had carpal tunnel surgery on the 13th of March. On the 19th of March, 6 year old Merri started showing signs of Coronavirus with a high temperature and bad cough. She was sleeping a lot and lost her appetite. A wonderful nurse at our GP surgery brought to my house a suture kit when my date came for them to be removed and FaceTimed me to talk me through removing them. She called me the next day to see how it went and although she was busy asked after both me and Merri.
After seeing Tom Moore on tv and how successful he has been in raising money for the NHS, Merri has decided she also wants to raise some money to support them in these dark times. She has decided to do a sponsored bike ride but instead of breaking lockdown, her bike will be made stationary and she’ll do it either in the living room or on the driveway for an hour a day.
She is missing her volunteering for the Stonehouse in Bloom team and says it seems a shame to not do something to help others even if it is only from our living room. If you are unable to donate, please share and help her reach her goal. Thank you in advance and stay safe
