Mental Health Awareness Media Projects
Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

I aim to create self funding media projects to promote healthy mental health and provide entertainment.

I have suffered with depression and anxiety for a number of years, heightening in the last 2/3 years. I have found help through a number of means such as watching YouTube & Twitch gamers (as gaming is a massive hobby which I also find as relaxing and an escape), as well as listening to podcasts and interaction on various media platforms with others who also suffer and struggle or have previously suffered and struggled seemingly easier than people you know or work with.

I am hoping to set up a YouTube channel providing content & streaming weekly if not more often in a variety of manners from positive news stories, discussions on mental health, allowing people to contact and speak openly if they wish. I want this to be self sustainable so profit can have a significant percentage donated to charities such as MIND as well as put towards helping others and creating events to help spread awareness and donations and hopefully one day becoming full time income allowing me to help others and myself in other ways.

The content I would stream and upload would be stuff I enjoy as well as stuff specifically for mental health; gaming content, podcasts based on that weeks events, football and sport news, special streams discussing mental health - my own battles and opening up to others and hopefully getting guests on as well as more entertainment and content down the line.

The money raised will go towards getting equipment such as a microphone, editing software, hardware such as a PC or Laptop. Any donation small or large is welcome and appreciated to hopefully help spread awareness and help me do a hobby self sustainably.

Thanks for reading.
