Crowdfunder would get more if it improved its website. I nearly gave up on this one. But I see the financial trade off. Maybe you have the right compromise.

What an amazing cause. I am lucky enough to horse ride over the South Downs. Such a beautiful place. We are so incredibly lucky to have this on our doorstep. Thank you so much.

The South Downs is close to my heart and repairing the South Downs Way is so worthwhile enabling people to enjoy it in a very healthy way

Sarah Playforth 12th October 2018

I've lived within ten minutes of the South Downs all my life and loved it for as long. Recently I wrote this: Ten thousand times or more I’ve seen this view Of sisters seven, white, grey, green, blue. Haven Brow, Short Brow, Rough Brow, Brass Point, Flagstaff Point, Bailey's Hill, Went Hill. Today the cliffs were thronged with booted feet Of ramblers at their Sunday meet. Downland turf, brambles, gulls aswoop Meandering Cuckmere makes a loop. My family and their ghosts still rove these hills I see my cousins play among the ghylls. In rain, in sun, snow, clouds and hail, I’ve walked these downlands, cliff and dale. Ten thousand times again I hope to see this view Of sisters seven, white, grey, green, blue. Haven Brow, Short Brow, Rough Brow, Brass Point, Flagstaff Point, Bailey's Hill, Went Hill.

I have walked the Southdowns Way and I am very happy to donate in thanks for such a memorable experience. I continue to regularly wander the South Downs and hope to do so for many years to come on paths maintained by its users.

John Soderberg 5th October 2018

As an ardent hiker, walker, climber, I want to ensure that everyone can enjoy the beautiful trails and mountains. By supporting the MoM campaign, everyone is encouraging outdoor access, a healthy lifestyle and overall well-being, as well as the preservation of our gorgeous countryside. A truly worthy cause.
