Medical Women's Federation Centenary Celebrations

Medical Women's Federation Centenary Celebrations

In 2017, we celebrate our Centenary with a week of events, lectures, dinners and drinks receptions across London from 10th-13th May.

Unfortunately, this project was not successful

The Medical Women's Federation are celebrating their Centenary – ‘100 Years of Medical Women: The Past, Present and Future’ and will be taking place in May 2017 with attendees and speakers such as Baroness Ilora Finlay, Phillippa Whitford MP and other eminent figures.

Founded in 1917, The Medical Women’s Federation has been at the forefront, campaigning for women in medicine and on healthcare issues unique to women doctors and their patients. For 100 years, MWF has worked tirelessly to challenge discriminatory practices in medicine and has supported women so that they may feel empowered to push for change. The MWF are now the largest and most influential body of women doctors in the UK and have had a huge impact on equality for women, politics and empowering women to be successful. The event will be a celebration of the role women have played in medicine.

As MWF is a registered charity, the event depends on support from sponsors/donations so any involvement, small or large, would be great, and as it is such a memorable event it would be fantastic to get YOU involved in some way!

We would love to discuss the opportunity of your organisation becoming a valued sponsor at the event and how we can best support you in achieving whatever outcome is most important to you. Whether exposure or networking, we would be more than happy to create a tailored package to suit your needs and financial budget. If this is of interest, please contact Elise on 01438 751519 for further information.
