The Medical Assessment Room at CRSA has been used for First Aid provision since the new clubhouse was erected in 2008. With sporting participation at the site quickly flourishing, the need for medical care, physiotherapy and rehabilitation increased. With space in the room for only a single treatment plinth, the clubs excellent medical team would often spill over into changing rooms and corridors to support players on weekends. During the week, rehabilitation would commonly take place within changing rooms. Due to limited access, players on spinal boards would be treated in the corridor or lobby...
With growing demand and a desire to support players of all ages and sports, this project aims to raise funds to combine the current Medical Assessment Room and adjacent changing room. This will allow for a second treatment plinth, emergency access, rehabilitation space and new equipment.
The Cobham medical team are well-known throughout the local sporting communities for their outstanding quality of care. The members and staff are equally proud of their longstanding contribution. Now is the time to provide them with the facilities they need to flourish.
