Peter is not married & lives alone in South Africa. He has a cancerous tumour in his bowel area. Cancer is at Stage 4 & the tumour is inoperable according to the government hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa. The cancer has also spread to his liver & lungs - so all the hospital can offer is radiation treatment to try & shrink the tumour to give him some sort of comfort & pain relief.
I am trying to raise as much funds as possible to pay for private medical care and palliative care for Peter. He has been given months/year to live. Months can be anything from 3 to 6 to 9 to 12 to 18 months - there is no saying how fast the cancer is going to spread or how much time he has left!Peter's birthday is on the 7th May 2019 - he will be 56! I would dearly love to be with him for this last birthday!
BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY - I WANT HIM TO HAVE COMFORT & BE PAIN FREE! I WANT TO BE WITH MY BROTHER & HELP HIM THROUGH THIS STAGE OF HIS LIFE! I DON NOT WANT HIM TO DIE ALONE!Yes, we both work & earn a wage, however, our wages manage to keep the roof over our heads and food on the table. There is no way that our wages could ever come near the costs of the care that Peter will need in the very near future.
Any amount donated would be greatly appreciated by myself to give my brother to comfort & dignity he deserves. From a very heart broken sister - wishing you God's richest blessing, good health, abundant love & laughter- Amen xxx
