Why it matters:
This is one of the most important elections in generations. It's crucial the UK has strong and stable leadership to get the best deal from incredibly tough negotiations with the European Union. All donations to my election campaign will help me reach voters across East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow.
By electing me as your MP you will strengthen the prime minister's hand and help her achieve a positive new relationship with Europe after Brexit.
That will protect jobs in East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow, as well as across Scotland and throughout the UK. It will also ensure opportunities for our young people in the years ahead.
I believe in a confident, outward looking, prosperous and truly global Britain that is a force for good in the world. We are one of the world's biggest aid donors and the efforts of the Department for International Development, based right here in East Kilbride, are vital to people in developing and war-torn countries. That's something we should all value. It should inspire us to keep being ambitious about what we can achieve as a United Kingdom.
At this election people have a clear choice. We can help Theresa May deliver a Brexit that works for everyone in the UK and ensures it continues to play a positive role in the world. Or we can give up on strong and stable leadership, opting instead for chaos and division.
Every vote for another party risks Jeremy Corbyn in Downing Street, in charge of Brexit, propped up by the SNP - who will demand another divisive independence referendum Scotland doesn't want. And we know Jeremy Corbyn is "fine for that".
By electing me as your MP you will ensure East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow are represented by someone who will work with the government through the challenges ahead - to deliver a better deal for everyone in the area.
Any donation - whatever its size - will help take these key messages to voters ahead of this crucial election.
