It has been a huge honour to serve Boston and Skegness for the last two years. I promised to be your local champion in Westminster in the 2015 General Election and I’ve worked hard to deliver on that – now in 2017 I’m asking for your help to make sure I can run the best campaign in this constituency. I hope I can count on your continued support through this year and beyond.
I’ve been working hard over the last two years to represent the people of Boston and Skegness – in that time we’ve seen huge progress towards the delivery of the £100m flood barrier that will protect Boston and the beginnings of a new distributor road that will help ease congestion, we’ve seen the start of work at the new Skegness Countryside Business Park, and we’ve seen new broadband services rolled out across swathes of rural areas, in a programme that is still ongoing.
But above all we’ve seen the vote to leave the European Union - in the forthcoming election on June the 8th, there’s a simple choice: do you want Theresa May to lead a renegotiation that will get the best possible deal as we take back control from Brussels? Or do you want Jeremy Corbyn to lead Britain?
Strong and stable leadership will deliver control of our laws, control of our borders and an outward-looking, optimistic United Kingdom that stands tall on the world stage, trading globally and thriving economically. That’s the positive case I want to make on June 8th, and I hope you will help me to do it. Please give as little or as much as you can.
