So desperately sad to hear about Matt. The first thing I associate him with is music, I'm grateful to be able to support such a fitting tribute. My thoughts are with his family right now: I hope you find comfort and pride when listening to his compositions.

I went to school with Matt, and I remember his love of music and that he was just a genuinely lovely guy. I'm so sorry this has happened. Beautiful tribute x

This donation brings us to the target sum, but I have been told that there is no need to stop there ! Any surplus donations that might come in within the next few days and all profits from any sales will be put towards a music scholarship to assist the next generation of those who, like Matt and many of you, have committed themselves to music. A profound thank you to each and everyone of you who have contributed to this project and left such heartwarming comments. I am also extremely grateful to Jon Hargreaves and Holly Matthieson, Kerry Andrew and Andrew Furlow, James and Cressida Lindsay, Eamonn O'Dwyer, Sarah Dacey and Lucy Mulgan for creating this crowdfunder to honour Matt's musical accomplishment and last wishes. Finally, thank you to you, beloved Matt, for all the wonderful music you introduced me to. I know you would be overwhelmed to hear that Freddy Kempf is going to perform your preludes and fugues : a dream come true that I only wish you were here to witness. With love, Teresa /Mum

Bringing Matt’s compositions to the world is a wonderful project. The tragedy of losing such a lovely, talented, generous musician so young is really devastating. It will be very precious to be with his musical personality through these recordings, and I really look forward to that. With love, Jack
