Masks for Carers
We did it
On 21st May 2020 we successfully raised £760 with 32 supporters in 28 days

To provide carers with the Personal Protective Equipment that they need and deserve in order to carry out their work safely.

On 18 April 2020 our dad died at home of end-stage Alzheimer's. He was looked after by fantastic live-in carers who had no Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and were putting themselves at risk. This situation is repeated in care homes and in the community throughout the country.

As a tribute to our dad, and to them, we want to raise money for PPE so that they can feel safe as they go about their work.

We will be sending the money raised to https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/masks4nhsheroes who are crowdfunding for PPE for the NHS and carers. They assure us that carers are a priority for the next masks that they purchase.
