The aim of the project is to celebrate and raise awareness of interracial relationships in Liverpool 8 from the 1950s-present day.

by Nwoko Arts in Waterloo, England, United Kingdom

I was born in Liverpool 8. My mother was a white women from Bootle and my father was from Nigeria. I had first hand experience of the issues that my mother faced as a women in a interracial relationship. I am passionate about telling the stories of people who's voices are unheard in theatre. I want to share these unique real historical stories with other communities and celebrate the diversity of Liverpool

I will deliver workshops in schools on the issue of anti discrimination and celebrating culture. I will also generate an income from delivering anti discrimination workshops at conferences and for corporate events and team building events.
