There is no such thing as a good Brexit. As the Brexit negotiations are in shambles, we must have the right to think again.

On 24 March 2018, Young European Movement Edinburgh and the European Movement in Scotland will gather for a march on the Scottish Parliament to demand "Democracy on Brexit".  When the country's future is at stake, the decision cannot be made as a shady backroom deal. Instead, there must be a fair and informed vote on any Brexit arrangement proposed by the UK government. In that vote, remaining in the EU must be an option.

The march will take place on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, with the starting point at St Giles' Cathedral, and ending at The Scottish Parliament. Beginning at 14:00, there will be speeches and music. You are invited to bring musical instruments, placards, and of course Europe-themed garments!

The event is a part of a UK-wide series of actions taking place the same weekend. It follows successful public events in Edinburgh in March and October 2017. All across Britain, we will keep standing up for what is right.
