Innovative dendritic cells therapy is a hope for traditionally treated cancer patients like me to prevent the illness from returning.

by Monika H in Coventry, England, United Kingdom

Studies show that 10 years survival rate for cancer patients is only 50%! Looking at your own mortality in numbers can be very scary but luckily the therapy called dendritic cells was invented a few years back. It is introduced into the body in the form of vaccine which draws attention of the immune system to the cancer's presence and resumes the work of the corresponding functions. This serves as a means of mobilising a special power of the immune system which can find and fight cancer. United Kingdom is still in the phase of clinical trials for dendritic cells therapy but there are countries in Europe where this therapy is approved and officials used so I am trying to collect enough money to go to Germany, have it done and stop worrying about cancer coming back.
