MIAF will put Maidstone on the map as a cultural hub, bringing together international and local creative artists. Help us to make it greater

by Maidstone International Arts Festival in Maidstone, Kent, England

Maidstone Area Arts Partnership and Baltic Art Form are launching the first ever Maidstone International Arts Festival. This weekend long event will bring together international, national and local performing and creative artists. The theme of the Festival is Mars, which is inspired by the crater on Mars named after Maidstone. This not only provides a unique opportunity to bring together art and science, but also gives a focus for inspiration, and experimental exploration.

Please have a look at our new website where you will discover some of the performances, workshops, artists and scientists involved:

https://maidstoneinternationalartsfestival.org

Through audience participation, public engagement, family activities and creative collaborations, the festival presents a series of performances, exhibitions, talks and workshops, taking place in five of the most iconic locations in Maidstone.

All this has been possible thanks to the enthusiasm, dedication and determination of the MAAP and BAF's teams. Their steadfast belief in this project and investment of combined knowledge and expertise was a constant source of energy during the months of preparation.

We hope that you share our vision and that this short introduction inspires you to join us in this venture. Together, with your generous support, we will be able to move forward into the final stages of production and bring the project to full fruition!
