I'm trying to raise funds in order to help pay for my MA tuition fees.

In 2010 I graduated with a double honours degree in English literature and creative writing, since then the plan was to start my MA in creative writing, and as we all know things don't always go to plan. After we got married my husband decided to embark on a completely new career path of his own, happy to support this, I left my own job, family and friends and moved to a new part of the country. Two  children later I have decided it's finally time to do something that can help me progress in my life.

My course is due to start in October 2018 and I'm almost at the stage of paying but just short of the final fee.

I want to do my MA for many reasons but the main one is that I want to become a college/university tutor and a Masters is essential for this. Literature and creative writing seems to be at a stage where it is becoming obsolete in a society that relies heavily on social media etc. Films based on books also seems to be more normal than reading the actual book, and classics are being forgotten. It would be a real shame if people grew up never having known about Plath, Shakespeare, Dickens and Austin etc. If I, as a tutor, can make a difference to one life by imparting this knowledge I will have achieved something amazing. The same goes for the creative writing aspect, to teach this and show new generations what a wonderful thing language can be and how we can communicate through poetry and prose.

Thank-you for taking the time to read this, any help anyone can offer me will be greatly recieved. Even the smallest amounts make a difference and get me one step closer. £1 is £1 closer to the fee amount being met.
