The ambition is to enable a small group of homeless helpers store donations and provide an improved service to our homeless friends.

I have been helping out with a wonderful group led by Shoshana and Lloyd Gilmore who head out every week to help clothe, feed and support the homeless living on the streets.

Inspired by them and following some promises from businesses if I can raise £1000+ I have decided to run the Ridgeway Challenge in November. I will be running the full 87 Miles from Ivinghoe Beacon to Swindon in order to do this. If I can raise £1000 before the event I can unlock the project early and on completion further donations have been promised from business to ensure the longer term storage for this group which of course will help continue their generosity.

This brilliant group has been running for over 2 years walking through the streets every single week handing out clothes, shoes, food, drink and personal items such as soap, toothpaste, sun cream and more. With clothing, blanket and sleeping bag donations being the life blood of this operation having a permanent space to store items is essential to enabling their ongoing work. With this in mind I would like to raise £2000 to provide a storage solution in or near London either rented or permanent which would simply allow them to take more donations all year round without having to turn away donations due to having nowhere to store them. The money could also help provide a more stable footing and kickstart their ambitions to become a registered charity.

Any donation would be wonderful if you can spare any small donation.

Thank you very much for your support.
