We adopted this two beautiful 1 year old baby siblings Mori and Luna back in February 2020. They are rescue cats. We initially though they were healthy, but despite the £600 fee we paid to adopt them it turned out they were not.
Since week one we have been taking them to the VET with multiple issues that even the Vets are struggling to find out the cause. From strong diarrhoea, to upper respiratory infections, to teeth decay problems, strong cough, and the worst is that all of this bills are happening during this pandemic environment.
We want to give them the best care they can have as they are the most loving cats you can imagine, but the VET bills are causing pressure on our finances and no insurance company will cover the costs as they class this as "pre-existing " condition" being one of them "Feline coronavirus" and vets are now suspecting of "Cat asthma"
Mori just got tested for a series of possible conditions and had his bad teeth treated/removed. We are still waiting on his test results. His last bill came up to around £400.
Luna needs the same testing done as soon as possible but we can't afford to test both at the same time so we had to prioritise most poorly first, and this is just the beginning as we are still at the testing stage and we already spent just under £1000 in vet bills since February (adoption fees not included).
They are on a constant gastrointestinal special food diet. They have been on antibiotics, steroids and all the things you can see in the attached pictures.
We were hopping that someone could help them with some of the vets costs so we can get Luna tested too and and maybe some future treatments as we are still waiting on Mori's test results, so we can try to give them a best life quality quality.
