Dry slope ski racing returns to Kent. Chatham ski centre has resurfaced its slope and we need to raise money for equipment for races.

We did it!

On 7th Dec 2017 we successfully raised £255 of £150 target with 19 supporters in 28 days

We are bringing back ski racing to Kent and need new equipment to launch the 2018 dry slope race season.  Dry slope ski racing launched the careers of Dave Ryding, Chemmy Alcott and our very own Kent ski racer, Charlotte Evans, who won gold at the 2014 Paralympic Games where she was a guide to Kelly Gallagher.

This is our first time at crowdfunding and would like to raise £150 for a new microphone to enable us to actively engage with the crowd and racers at our races in 2018.  Chatham ski slope is the longest artificial ski slope in England so we need a hi-tech microphone for everyone to hear us announce racers and their times.

In 2018 we will be holding our regional races at Chatham, along with a brand new Club National race, a GBR race and of course the Kent Schools' Ski Championships aimed at all local Kent school children.

Please help us fund our new microphone and come along to the races.  You may wish to keep those ski legs moving all year round and join in.
