Time for Manchester Central to have a independent voice in Westminster. Help support Loz's campaign. Think different, vote different

Loz Kaye for Manchester Central

It's time for Manchester Central to have an independent voice. I want to stand to restore faith in our broken democracy, to speak out for our freedoms and make a Manchester – and country- where everyone can get their fair share.

I've been backing grassroots campaigns to stop companies ruining our city by letting buildings stand empty when they should be used to benefit the community. I've been challenging the Manchester planning committee for more green space.

It's not long since the Manchester Central by-election. Since then the LibDems, Greens and Tories have all ditched their candidates but the Pirate Party and I have stood by the constituency.

For some politics is just theory- I'm about action. As Manchester Central MP I could do so much more.

Think Different? Give the chance to vote different.

To get the change this country needs we need to think different. And to vote for something different.I want the chance to put that different agenda across.

Just some of the issues I want to highlight for Manchester Central are:

Our Freedoms

End mass surveillance

Fair and open justice system – no secret courts

Protect the right to protest

Respect privacy

Child Poverty

Child poverty is at 44% in Manchester Central

£50 million from the “Devo Manc” deal to target child poverty

Targetted action, community organiser lead

Scrap University tuition fees

Education as a lifelong right

Let teachers teach, not administrate

NHS free at the point of delivery

Treat drug addication as a health issue, not a criminal one

End grip of “big pharma”, patients before profits

Community lead, not top down regeneration

Powers to challenge owners who leave buildings empty

Support reuse of heritage buildings

Affordable housing in every ward

Where does the money go?

£500 covers the deposit needed to stand for Parliament. And yes that's needed up front...

We know we still have work to do getting the word out about the Pirate Party. It can be hard to break through media noise sometimes, so we need to contact as many voters as possible. What we find is that when people get to know us, they get to like us. And when they get to like us, people will vote for us.

£250 Will cover a mailout to the whole constituency.

£250 Will cover individual candidate leaflets for meetings, canvassing and to put in shops and clubs.
