Why this Project?
[香港人 - 自己電影自己睇]
從因熱愛香港而投身治政，到進入議會的機會擦身而過；
從初嚐黎明前的黑暗，到面對七年鐵窗的痛；
一路走來，梁天琦都只是一個跟你我無異的年青人。
雨傘運動後，香港年青人何去何從？
電影《地厚天高》記錄梁天琦從剛冒起成為政治新星、到喪失參選資格及人身自由的種種。《地厚天高》獲香港電影評論學會大獎選為年度推薦電影之一，以獨立電影身份在香港放映，全院滿座。
無論你在政治光譜的那個位置上，我們都希望能在電影院見到每一個你。

Why 200?
We need 200 donors to make it happen.
£2,400 (200 person X £12) is required for the Project. What does it cover?
Your £12 donation will cover the cost of 1) hiring of cinema screening, 2) film licensing fee, 3) film’s file delivery and 4) any other incurring charge. Any remaining funding would be donated to Justice Defence Fund.
What’s the date and venue?
Date: 2nd March, 2019 (a 2 hour slot before 5pm, upon availability of the venue)
Venue: The Prince Charles Cinema (7 Leicester Pl, WC2H 7BY)
What should I do to have a seat in the screening?
If you donate £12 or more, you will get a ticket to the screening of ‘’Lost in the Fumes’’. Please select "£12 or more reward" and check out. You can buy multiple tickets and add additional donation there.
I am not in London at that time. What can I do to support?
We definitely need your generous support to make it happen. Happy to have any amount of donation from you! Please check out under "Just Donate" option to support.
Any deadline of the fund raising?
31, December, 2018 will be our cut-off date to determine if we can go ahead with the viewing and secure cinema hiring.
What happens if the targeted funding is not reached?
Crowdfunder will return your donation to you. It's "all or nothing".

電影大綱 Synopsis：
梁天琦沒有想過自己會由寂寂無名的普通大學生，成為近年兩場香港立法會選舉的焦點。補選曾得的六萬多票讓他足以穩操勝券奪得一席，然而，下一輪選舉中，他雖簽過確認書，高牆卻宣告他無緣踏足議會。他說過「就算爬入去、躝入去也好，也要成為一個代議士」，結果，他只能作旁觀者，為後備名單上的梁頌恆拉票助選。年初一晚，警察在旺角衝突時向天鳴槍，梁天琦也在現場。背着三條暴動罪的控告，他的自由生活正在倒數。鎂光燈背後的梁天琦，不再是雄辯滔滔的明日之星，而是他朝可能鋃鐺入獄的階下囚。梁頌恆當選以後，梁天琦驟然消失在政治亂局當中。當香港接連發生宣誓爭議、人大釋法、多位議員資格被取消，他在餘下日子卻毅然負笈美國進修。
Edward Leung was an average student before he unexpectedly finds himself at the focal point of two Legislative Council elections. While winning over 60,000 votes in the By-election would have guaranteed Edward a seat in the next round, his ticket to LegCo is forfeited when the regime imposes extra measures in the nomination process. Having once claimed that 'be it crawling or creeping in, I will become a councillor', he can now only take the sidelines and put the backup Baggio Leung into the race. On the other hand, Edward finds his free days numbered as he faces three counts of rioting charges for taking part in the Mong Kok Protest. Once an eloquent rising star in politics, now he may as well be a doomed prisoner. As the oath-taking controversy and the disqualification saga unfold, Edward retreats from the spotlight and decides to leave for further study in the United States while chaos continues to reign over Hong Kong politics.
導演簡介 Director Biography:
畢業於香港大學比較文學及法文系。首套長片《未竟之路》（2016），講述後雨傘一代青年，於 2016 年香港獨立電影節首映，後於台灣、韓國、英國等多個海外影展放映，及在本地舉行過二十多場社區及大學放映。首套紀錄短片《旺角黑夜》（2014）曾入選第二十一屆ifva公開組。
A Comparative Literature and French graduate from the University of Hong Kong. She premiered her first feature documentary Road Not Taken (2016) in Hong Kong Independent Film Festival 2016. Road Not Taken was also screened in a series of overseas film festivals and local community screenings. Her first documentary short Midnight in Mong Kok (2014) was a finalist of the Open Category of the 21st ifva Awards and was also featured in some foreign film festivals.
