I need your help. I’m launching ‘London Speaks’, which will be the biggest public conversation that London has ever had. I need your support to make it happen.
I'm an independent
As an independent candidate, I’m not relying on a party infrastructure or a well-honed campaign machine. I am going to go straight to the people. And they are infinitely more knowledgeable, more experienced, more intelligent, more informed – and can do far more for their local community – than any grand, distant figure.
So we are going to get out onto doorsteps – and find out what people want to change in London. What do people want to improve in their area? What’s stopping it from happening? What do people want to see more of, and what do they want to see less of?
And I am going to take that knowledge and put it at the heart of my manifesto for Mayor of London.
I'm running for Mayor to change London
London is a great city, but it is also a city that is creaking. People do not feel safe – on the streets, in their homes – and crime is rising. We also need more affordable housing. We need to make air quality better. We need to make sure our streets are clean and as green as they can be.
There is so much we can do to change this city. But to do so we need more energetic, vigorous action – we need to grip these problems and find solutions. And crucially, we need to listen to you.
I need your help to launch London Speaks
With London Speaks, I’m trying something that’s never been done before in British politics. I am building a campaign that relies on people who have had enough of politicians shouting and never listening. My campaign will be built on listening and delivering. But, to launch London Speaks, I need to raise £5,000.
I need to print at least 20,000 leaflets, hire event space, and develop the technology and infrastructure to make London Speaks possible. It can only be possible with your support.
Through listening, through giving a voice to millions of people, we can make this city so much better.
But to do so, I need you. So please, help me – help us – change this city together.
